The Department of Anthropology is currently undergoing an exciting period of renewal and is seeking a Lecturer in Anthropology to contribute to its teaching and research programs.

The successful applicant will possess a PhD in Anthropology, and experience teaching in a university environment, preferably including experience coordinating large units of study. A strong and developing record of publication and a willingness to seek out and attract external research funding will be essential.

Experience in, or a demonstrated capacity for postgraduate supervision will be required, together with a commitment to interaction with colleagues both in the Department and across the University.

The successful applicant will be expected to have expertise in one or more of the following fields: urban anthropology, medical anthropology, race and ethnicity, migration and global studies.
